HI ALL!!!!!!!!

First things first, I just want to say HOLY CRAP I LOVE THIS SOFTWARE!!! LOL. From what I can tell (I have looked a lot) this is the only frontend software that actually gets updated. I cant wait to use it.....on a side note it would be nice if you would accept PayPal. lol
Anyway I use FM radio a lot in the car. I found a super cheap way to get radio on a computer its a RTL-SDR device. http://www.nooelec.com/store/nesdr-smart.html some more info on it here. https://www.rtl-sdr.com/
A great easy app for FM/AM. https://chrome.google.co...leokajkghmifldohpo?hl=en

Do you think its possible to get it to work with Drivershell?

Hi kouklo,

Thank you!

I haven't worked much on Driveshell in lately unfortunately, but i of cause plan to do so!

Integrating FM radio is actually very difficult. It can only be done if the device has an SDK, where it's possible to communicate with the device through external software. There is SOME support for FM devices in Driveshell, but it could definately be better.

The devices currently supported, more or less, is:

  • Monkeyboard
  • ADSTech
  • PCEar
  • SiliconLabs

I don't know the device you're referring, but you could try to select one of these devices in the settings section and see if it works. I doubt it though.

Well it seems it's possible to communicate with that device after all. Currently Driveshell does not support it, but if you want, i can release a version for you that MIGHT work. I can't test it without the device though.

Let me know.

Okay, i did some more reaearch. It doesn't seem to work like the other devices. It IS possible to get to work in Driveshell, but it would probably take a lot of hours.

fair enough. Is there a way to get that app I posted to load into Driveshell? Because the app is a plugin for Google Chrome it dosent have a actual EXE. If you could get that to work then it would solve the issue.

I guess you could run chrome inside Driveshell yeah. Have you tried running Chrome as an external app?

This is a strange app. Try installing it, you dont need the hardware to install it. If you didnt know any better you would think that its its own program. You dont need Chrome open to run it, as long as Chrome is installed. I even have the app on my desktop. Technically I can use Chrome to open it but its just a extra, useless step.

Sorry for the late response.

I tried installing it. Sure it just opens in a new window. But how would you launch it as a separate app? Also, it doesn't seem to be resizable.
